Eleven months ago I came down with Bells Palsy which I found out is a viral sickness that causes one side of your face, usually the left, to not respond to your commands.
In other words you lose control of your face so on one side you can't blink your eye or smile and when you try to eat you can't open your mouth wide enough to get food in.
That weekend that it happened, I was at the same table with Dr. Joe Vitale, one of the stars of “The Secret”; the movie. I was trying to have a conversation with him and eat too, neither of which I could do at all.
I was pretty embarrassed to say the least. But here's the kicker . . .
